Our souls are the only eternal part of us. Yet it is so easy to spend thousands of dollars preparing kids for those things which are temporary rather than teaching them to study scripture and love the God reveled there with all their hearts. There is a value structure here which is horribly out of place. Highschool kids are old enough to learn to study the Bible in a deep meaningful way, and even start to learn the Biblical languages. These kids (especially those who won't be going to Bible college) need Bible education, they will become the future leaders and Sunday School teachers in our churches with "dumbed down" Bible knowledge.
